We support the PPA’s initiative to standardise this file format by recommending the pass4press platform. This can be found by clicking here or visiting www.pass4press.com If adopted by a company with several printers, this makes the file a truly “Portable Document Format” without the need to check specifications if the same file is needed to be shared between two printers. It is also far less hassle for your production staff and repro house to have a common specification. Our technical leadership is strong throughout the department. Any customers who are struggling to create usable PDF’s have access to sound advice and help. We also arrange site visits if required, and often help to set up customers Macs, software and provide tuition. We can accept Quark files by arrangement but in advance of the schedule. We can convert them to PDF for a small charge. We also accept InDesign files and help our customers introduce relevant upgrades to their operations.
