We gained accreditation to ISO 9002 in the year 2000. We have taken this system to our hearts and embrace all that it has to offer. We note that some companies pay lip service to the system only pulling out the stops when the auditors are knocking on the door.
We took the view that the pain and effort of implementing this system was only worthwhile if we made it work for us, used it wisely, and monitored and measured our improvements, cost savings, and increased efficiencies.

Every function has a set of operating procedures. Operatives (including CSR’s) are audited, both internally and externally against these procedures. Checklists are complete for each element of the value chain, and goods (job bags/plates/sections, etc) have to be “signed-out” before they pass to the next link in the chain. Non-conforming items are isolated/stopped/sent back.

Health & Safety
Health and Safety is of paramount importance to the company and at the heart of all operations. Garnett Dickinson employs a full time Health and Safety Officer who implements and monitors our robust systems and procedures to ensure the safety of our employees and visitors to the factory.
